Lower Canopy

fyeahmetal This is angular hardcore that remains me of late 90s/early 00s greats like the 3 C's (Converge, Coalesce, Cave In). But it also has a dark, emotional undertone that isn't afraid to smooth out the angles with some straight-up pounding. The guitar work is super interesting, with lots of abstract voicings without ever feeling "mathy". I'm also digging the impassioned vocal performance. The production rides a nice line between crisp and organic. More, please! Favorite track: Branches.

about

Don't Disturb My Circles Lisboa, Portugal

A name is nothing but a name...
A statement is nothing without meaning...
Art is nothing without a cause...
Life is death without music!

"don't disturb my circles" were Archimedes last words before he was killed by a roman soldier in Syracuse. He was drawing circles in the sand, sketching a geometry problem, perfecting his art...

He was in his world... and he didn't want to be disturbed...
